Claiborne Darbonne, Jr.

MAMOU-Claiborne “Buddy” Darbonne, Jr., 61, passed away on Saturday, November 27, 2021.

Claiborne “Buddy” Darbonne, Jr.  was born on October 20, 1960, in Mamou, LA to Claiborne Darbonne, Sr. and Neeta Joyce Bertrand Darbonne.  Buddy was an avid sports fan.  He also enjoyed listening to classic rock and blues music.

He is survived by his longtime companion of 16 years, Debora Duplechain; sister, Celina Faye Mann and husband, Gene of Denton, TX; brother, Patrick Darbonne and wife, Kim of Mamou; step children, Ronald McGee, Steven McGee, and Tiffany McGee; 10 step grandchildren whom he adored, especially step granddaughter, Gracelyn Rose McGee, and two nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Claiborne Darbonne, Sr. and Neeta Joyce Bertrand Darbonne.
