Ricky Deshotel

MAMOU - The family of Ricky Anthony Deshotel, 62, announces his passing on Friday, November 5, 2021 in Mamou, Louisiana.  Ricky was born in Franklin on January 11, 1959 to Telisma and Jeanie Deshotel.

Ricky is survived by two daughters, Hollan Elizabeth Fortier and husband, Karl of Broussard and Jennie Bollich and husband, Ben of Basile; two sons, Andre’ Deshotel and wife, Katie of Lafayette and Jamie Deshotel and girlfriend, Allison Ballard of Basile; and eight grandchildren, Ava Hebert, Vivian Fortier, Oliver Fortier, Rosalie Deshotel, Mila Deshotel, Katherine Bolliich, Lawrence Bollich, and Blaze Bollich.  He also leaves behind two brothers, Danny Deshotel and fiancé, Angela Messer of Ville Platte and Floyd David Doyle and wife, Carolyn of Arkansas.

Ricky is preceded in death by his parents, Telisma and Jeanie Deshotel and sister, Gennell Deshotel.
