James Kirt Guillory was born on October 13, 1961, in Mamou, LA, to James Winston and Janice Johnson Guillory.  Happily married to his wife, Sharon, for 40 years, they had four children: Cole, Jill, Corey and Lauri. His greatest joy in his life was his family.  He was known as “Paw-Paw” by his nine beautiful grandchildren. Spending time and playing with his grandchildren was his favorite pastime.  Kirt enjoyed being outdoors working with his horses and cattle.  He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. He was an amazing mentor and role model.  His family and friends will miss him dearly but rejoice in knowing he is celebrated in heaven.

He is survived by his loving wife, Sharon Bogard Guillory; two sons, Cole Guillory and Corey Guillory and wife, Kristen; two daughters, Jill Guillory Stevens and husband, Robbie and Lauri Guillory Haller and husband, Ryan; nine grandchildren, Jackson Guillory, Aeden Guillory, Leo Guillory, Elle Guillory, Leah Stevens, Charlie Stevens, Corbin Haller, Cooper Haller, and Walker Haller; two sisters, Karen Guillory Ardoin and husband, Jimmy and Kristina Guillory Landry and husband, Shawn; two brothers, Keith Guillory and wife, Liz and Kent Guillory and wife, Paula; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, James Winston and Janice Johnson Guillory.
