Edith Johnson

MAMOU – Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Mamou on Saturday, November 14, 2020, for Edith Johnson, 85, who passed away peacefully on November 8, 2020 at the Savoy Care Center in Mamou, LA.

Edith Johnson was born on September 13, 1935 to Curtis and Lena Robinson.  Edith enjoyed music and dancing.  She loved playing BINGO.  Her greatest love was the love she had for her family.  She loved having family get togethers and cooking for them on Sundays.

She is survived by her daughter, Alice Breaux of Pitkin; her son, Michael Robertson and wife, Lisa of Lake Charles; and niece, Lisa Willis of Pitkin.

She is preceded in death by her husbands Fred Calhoun and Huey Johnson; daughters, Donetta Calhoun; her son, Steve Calhoun; and her parents, Curtis and Lena Robinson.

The family requests that visitation be observed at Ardoin’s Funeral Home of Mamou on Friday, November 13, 2020 from 11:00 AM until 8:00 PM.  Visitation will resume on Saturday, November 14, 2020 from 8:00 AM until time of service.
