MAMOUThe devoted family of Yvonne Ardoin, 90 is sad to announce the death of their patriarch. Yvonne went to join the Lord on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at 8:10 AM at Camelot Place in Crowley. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, May 22, 2014 at 3:00 PM at St. Anns Catholic Church in Mamou. Rite of Committal will follow in the New St. Anns Cemetery with Father Thainese as Celebrant.
A loving mother, sister and aunt Yvonne leaves behind a son, Ferrell Ardoin and his wife, Suzette of Crowley two sisters, Lou Marcantel and Betty Hildebrand both of Mamou.
She will now rest in Heaven with her parents, Sady and Armide Guillory and two brothers, Ray. B. Guillory and Burke S. Guillory. They surely await her arrival with open arms and joyous hearts.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home on Thursday, May 22, 2014 from 10:00 AM until time of services. A Rosary will be recited in her honor on Thursday afternoon at 2:30 PM. Family and friends may view the online obituary and sign the guestbook at www.ardoinfuneralhomes.com.
