Mamou It is with great sadness that the family of Wilson Fontenot, 87 annouces his passing on Monday, July 5, 2010 at Savoy Care Center. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. at St. Anns Catholic Church. Rite of Committal will follow in the Gates of Heaven Cemetery in Ville Platte.
A veteran of WWII having served in the United States Army, Wilson will be lovingly remembered by his two daughters, Mrs. Ricky Joan Delafosse of Mamou and Miss Barbara Fontenot of Ville Platte three grandchildren, Michelle LeBleu and husband, Chris of Whiteville, Kitty Jo Deshotel and husband, Jason of Vidrine, and Dr. Ginger Delafosse, O.D. of Reddell and five great grandchildren, Parker Landreneau, Hayden Deshotel, Gabrielle LeBleu, Aubrey LeBleu, and Elllie Rose Deshotel. He will missed by all who knew and loved him.
He now rest in Heaven with his beloved wife, Percie Veillon Fontenot parents, Adam and Douicile Fontenot and five brothers.
