Mamou- Funeral services were held for Wilson J. Ardoin, 53, on Friday May 11, 2007 at 10:00 am at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Vidrine with Father Bob Courville officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Chataignier.

Wilson, a resident of Mamou, died on Thursday, May 9, 2007 at 10:02 am at Savoy Care Center In Mamou, following an illness of three months.

He is survived by his mother, Mary Nell Aucoin Ardoin of Mamou, La; two brothers, Steve Ardoin and wife, Diane, and David Ardoin, and wife, Patricia all of Mamou, La.; several nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Avie Ardoin and a brother, Toby Ardoin.

Visitation was held, on Thursday, May 10, 2007 from 8:00amuntil 10:00 pm. The Funeral Home reopened on Friday, May 11, 2007 at 6:00 am until time of services.

Ardoin Funeral Home of Mamou was in charge of arrangements.
