MAMOUA wonderful husband, father, brother, grandfather, greatgrandfather and friend, Willie Spears, Jr. will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Mr. Spears died peacefully on Friday, November 09, 2012 at his residence . He was 77. Chapel services will be held on Sunday November 11, 2012 At 2:00 pm at the Ardoin Funeral Home Chapel in Mamou with Deacon Chuck Ortego officiating. Burial will follow in the New St. Anns Cemetery.

Mr. Spears leaves behind a loving and grateful family including his loving wife of 53 years, Geraldine Marcantel Spears of Reddell one loving son, Mark Spears and wife Becky of San Antonio five, loving daughters, Roxann Spears Mayeaux and husband Steve of Vidrine, Sandy Spears Veillon and husband, Phil of Ville Platte, Debbie Spears McCaulley and husband Scott, of Vidrine, Jan Spears Lafleur and husband, Kevin of Vidrine, Christa Spears Veillon and husband Todd eleven grandchildren, Jared and Daphney Mayeaux, Mia and Jeremy Wallace, Trey and Sara Lafleur, Alex and Malerie Veillon ,Ike Lafleur, Abby and Rodney Hebert, Eric Veillon, Ian McCaulley, Heidi Beth Veillon, Nicholas Veillon, Caroline Spears six great grandchildren, Olivia, Jackson, Ella, and Amelia Mayeaux and Mallory and Gabe Wallace . One sister, Mrs. Alvin Wilda Fontenot of Opelousas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie,Sr. and Edith Spears. The family request that visitation will be on Saturday, November 10, 2012 from 11:00am until 10:00 pm A Rosary will be recited at 5:30 pm on Saturday November 10, 2012. The Funeral Home will reopen at 8:00 am on Sunday November 11, 2012 until time of services
