MAMOUIt is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the family of Waynewood J. Ardoin announces his passing on Monday, August 15, 2011 at Hertiage Manor in Opelousas, La. at the age of 69. Services will be held at St. Anns Catholic Church in Mamou, on Thursday August 17,2011 at 10:00 am Interment will follow in the Old St. Anns Cemetery with Father Mark
Meloncan officiating.
Waynewood is survived by one brother Clifford Ardoin , and one sister Alverda Deshotels both of Opelousas, La.He is also survived by a host of other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dorzelin and Marie Ardoin one sister and brotherinlaw, Lurline and Harry Granger one nephew, Mark Granger and one niece, Sheila Ardoin Walsh.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Mamou on Wednesday, August 17, 2011 from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm and again on Thursday, August 18, 2011 from 8:00 am until time of services..
