Mamou- A Mass of Christian Burial was held for Verlie F. Rougeau, 91 at St. Anns Catholic Church

At 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, January 29, 2008 with Father Pius Vallooran officiating. Burial followed in the New St. Anns Cemetery. Mrs. Rougeau, a resident of Mamou, died on Sunday, January 27, 2008 at

12- Oclock noon, at the Evangeline Extended Care Hospital in Mamou,La.

Mrs. Rougeau is survived by one daughter, Barbara Aucoin and husband, Malcolm of Mamou, La;one Special daughter-in-law, Jean Rougeau, of Mamou, La.

One sister, Leonie Reed of Mamou, La; one brother, Douglas Fontenot of Mamou,La.; five grandchildren, Sheila Elliott and husband David, Susan Verrette and husband, Glen, Rene Deshotel and husband, Thomas all of Mamou, La; Stacy Rougeau and wife- Sandy of Vidrine, La; Wendy Rougeau Of California;

She is preceded in death, by her parents, Joseph K. and Camille Seiley; her husband, Edward Rougeau, two sons, Warren Jerry Rougeau and Lynn Rougeau;
