MAMOUThe family of Verdie DuPre announces her passing on Thursday, October 17, 2013 at 1:15 pm at the Evangeline Extended Care Hospital in Mamou. Memorial services will be celebrated at St. Anns Catholic Church in Mamou on Friday, October 25, 2013 at 11:00 am. A Rosary will be recited at 10:30 am prior to the Mass.
Mrs. Verdie was a wonderful mother, grandmother, aunt and friend is survived by one son Charles Chuck DuPre and wife, Sherry of Leander, TX her two daughters, Marie D. Moore and husband, Stan of Booneville AR, and Cecilia D. Ledoux and husband, Sonny of Bridge City, TX eleven grandchildren, eighteen greatgrandchildren and one greatgreatgrandchild she now rest in heaven with by her first husband, Elton Guillory, her second husband, Albert Jacques DuPre her parents, Marcellus and Attile Oretgo DesHotels one son, Darwyn Don Guillory, one daughter Alberta Cecilia DuPre five brothers, Darby , Elby, Edward, Darbess, and Millard DesHotels and one sister, Emily LaHaye.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to Holy Spirit Chapel in Vidrine for Altar Service Pieces in memory of Verdie DuPre.
