MAMOU-Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial for Todd Ardoin, 51, at St. Ann's Catholic Church on Saturday, November 18, 2017, who passed away on Wednesday, November 15 at Lafayette General.

Father Billy Massie, Pastor at St. Ann's Catholic Church, will be conducting all funeral services.

Rite of Committal will take place at New St. Ann's Cemetery.

Todd served as a Federal Correction Officer for many years. He was very patriotic and he loved his country. He loved music having played the bass guitar in several bands for many years. Todd loved the outdoors, cooking and spending time with his family and friends. He was a proud father, lucky husband and grateful individual. He touched the lives of many and he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

His memories will live on through his family. Todd is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Susan Young Ardoin; mother, Marjorie Chapman and stepfather Eldon Chapman; step-mother, Norma Ardoin; daughter, Olivia Camille Ardoin of Vidrine; sons, Matthew Ardoin and Leeanne of Point Blue and Christopher Ardoin and Brandy of Point Blue; granddaughter, Gracie; sisters, Bekki Miller of Vidrine, Roxanne Burge and Donald Doucet of Sulfur, and Brenda Chesson of Lake Charles; brothers; James Koonce of Houston, Chris Chesson and wife Tiffiney of DeRidder, John Chesson and wife April of Sulfur, and Vaughn Chesson of Lake Charles; and numerous step-brothers, step-sisters, nieces and nephews.

Todd is preceded in death by his father Ray Ardoin and mother Lana Chesson.

The family request that visitation be observed at Ardoin's Funeral Home of Mamou on Friday, November 17, 2017 from 2:00 PM until 9:00 PM. A rosary will be recited at 6:00 PM on Friday by Deacon Gary Gaudin. Visitation will resume Saturday, November 18, 2017 from 8:00 AM until time of service.
