Tina Marie McGee, a native and lifelong resident of Mamou, Louisiana, passed away in Mamou on Monday, October 19, 2026, at the age of 68. Born on Tuesday, January 14, 1958, in Mamou, she will be remembered as a special lady and a good friend whose presence brought comfort and companionship to those who knew her.

Tina found happiness in life’s simple pleasures. She enjoyed watching TV and spending time taking care of her beloved fur baby, a devotion that reflected her gentle and caring nature. Those who knew her will remember the warmth she shared, the friendships she treasured, and the kindness that marked her life.

She was preceded in death by her father, Gladwood McGee; mother, Lillie McGee; son, Beau Bellard; brother, Tommy McGee; and sister, Brenda Fruge. 

Tina leaves behind dear companions whose support and friendship meant so much to her. She is survived by Greg Johnson, her special friend, and by Tina Fontenot Berzas, her devoted caregiver and friend. Also left behind are her son, daughter, grandchildren, and sister.  May they find comfort in the memories they shared with her, and in the lasting impression of her friendship and care.

Tina Marie McGee will be remembered with affection by those whose lives she touched. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her friends and loved ones.
