MAMOUIt is with great sadness that the family of Thelma LaHaye announces her passing on Thursday, August 16, 2012 at her residence in Vidrine.. She was 95. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated Monday, August 20, 2012 at St. Ann Catholic Church in Mamou at 10:00 am, with Father Mark Melancon Celebrant .Burial will be in the New St. Anns Mausoleum.

A loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, greatgreatgrandmother and friend, Thelma, is survived by her six daughters , Ouida L. Robert of Lafayette, Brenda Vidrine , Faye Parrott and husband Dickie, Gayle Fontenot and husband Carl, and Katy Marcantel and husband Bob all of Vidrine, and Carla L. Duhon and husband Trey of Lafayette twenty six grandchildren, fiftyeight greatgrandchildren, and fourteen greatgreatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elvin Lahaye, her parents, Pierre and Anna Guillory, two brothers Felix Guillory and Lennis Guillory and one sister, Effie Dugas, she is also preceded in death by one grandson, Bradley Parrott and one soninlaw, Paul Robert..

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Mamou on Sunday, August 19, 2012 from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm and again on Monday, August 20, 2012 from 8:00 am until time of services. A Rosary will be held at 7:00 pm on Sunday evening.
