Funeral services for Sylvester Guillory, Sr., 60 will be held for on Friday, March 30, 2007 10:00 a.m. at St. Anns Catholic Church in Mamou with Father Bob Courville officiating.Burial will follow in the Delafosse Cemetery, in Beaver.

Mr. Guillory, a resident of Mamou, died on Tuesday, March 27, 2007 at Opelousas General Hospital.

Mr. Guillory, is survived by his wife, Rose Guillory, of Mamou, La; two sons, Sylvester Guillory, Jr and wife, Connie, of Lawtell, La, and Brian Guillory and wife, Renee, of Jennings, La; one daughter, Karen Johnson and husband, Michael, of Lake Charles, La; two brothers, Sylvon Guillory of Mamou,La and Mack Guillory of Prairie Rhonde; eight sister, Ruby Fontenot, Diana Morris and Theresa Guillory, all of Mamou, La, Rose Soda of Nebraska, Mary Lou Gradney, of Liberty, Tx , Sandra Guillory, of Chataignier, La, Brenda Guillory of Chicago, and Ethel Guillory of Florida; seven grandchildren; He was also preceded in death by his parents, Maxine Guillory Mary Eula Gradney; one brother, John Roy Guillory, and one sister, Ann Guillory.

Visitation will take place on Thursday, March 29, 2007 from 3:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. The funeral home will reopen at 7:00 a.m. until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
