MAMOU - Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM at Ardoin's Funeral Home Chapel in Mamou on Wednesday, May 23, 2018, for Stephanie Lynn Manuel,47, who passed away on Monday, May 21, 2018 in Alexandria, LA.

Becky Lafleur will conduct the funeral services.

Burial will take place in the First Baptist Cemetery in Mamou, LA.

Stephanie Lynn Manuel was born in Eunice, LA on October 19, 1970 to Charlie Manuel and Barbara Vidrine Manuel. She was born a normal child but at 18 months she began to develop a handicap that she would have all of her life.

She is survived by her parents, Charlie and Barbara Manuel of Mamou; sisters, Anna Douget and husband EJ of Mamou, Arleen Bellow and husband Alden of Mamou, and Rita Gautreaux and husband Leonard of Mamou; brothers, Walter Manuel and wife Tina of Mamou, Kenneth "Foot" Manuel and wife Suzanne of Mamou, and Randy C. Manuel of Mamou; 17 nieces and nephews, and 32 great nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Louis Manuel and Vernice S. Manuel; maternal grandparents, Octaire Vidrine and Vergie G. Vidrine; and one infant sister, Linda Manuel.

The family requests that visitation be observed at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Mamou on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 from 12:00 PM - 9:00 PM. Visitation will continue Wednesday from 8:00 AM until time of service.
