MAMOU- It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Stephanie Bordelon,62, announces her passing on Saturday, April 04, 2015 at 10:34 A.M. at Lafayette General Medical Center in Lafayette. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Mamou on Wednesday, April 08, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. Rite of Committal will follow in the New St. Ann's Cemetery with Father Thainese as Celebrant.
A wonderful wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother and friend Stephanie will be greatly missed by her husband of 44 years, Phillip "Phil" Bordelon of Mamou, her mother, Ruth Deshotels Ardoin also of Mamou; four sons, Claude Bordelon of Mamou, Joshua Bordelon and wife Hope Bryant Bordelon of Hessmer, twin sons, Luke Bernard Bordelon and Lucas Paul Bordelon and one daughter, Elizabeth "Eve" Pierrotti and husband, Jacob all of Mamou; one brother, H. Wendell Ardoin and wife, Carmen Fontenot Ardoin of Eunice; seven grandchildren, Tyler, Brooke, Cory, and Matthew Bordelon, Alyssa Bordelon, Avery Bordelon and Landon Bryant.
She will now reunite in Heaven with her father, Lee Rayne Ardoin. He surely awaits her arrival with open arms and a joyous heart.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed on Tuesday from 12:00 noon until 10:00 P.M. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 P.M.on Tuesday. The funeral home will reopen at 8:00 A.M. on Wednesday until time of services.
