Sidney Fontenot, Jr

MAMOU On Sunday, September 21, 2014, Sidney Fontenot, Jr. departed this life at the age of 52 at LSU Medical Center in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Sidney was born on January 24, 1962 to the late Sidney and Ella Thomas Fontenot. At an early age, Sidney was baptized as a Catholic and served as an Alter boy for several years at St. Ann s Catholic Church in Mamou, La.

Sidney will be missed by his wife, Rena Chonta Fontenot of Longview, TX
his children, Roscoe Fontenot, of Ville Platte, LA, Kendall and Latrina Fontenot, of Houston, TX, Terrance and Angela Fontenot, of Houston, TX, Sovelia Jones, of Houston, TX, Lashonda Jones, of Houston, TX and Sidney Fontenot, III of Dallas, TX fourteen grandchildren two sisters, Bessie Rena Fontenot and Anderson Jackson, of Monroe, LA and Judy Ann Fontenot and Jerry Ardoin, of Katy, TX and a Host of relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Sidney and Ella Thomas Fontenot.
