MAMOUIt is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of, Sidney John Breaux, Sr , 75 announce his passing on Thursday, February 13, 2014 at his residence in Mamou. Chapel services will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2014 at 3:00 pm at the Ardoins Funeral Home Chapel in Mamou. Burial will follow in the New St. Anns Cemetery in Mamou with Rev. Woody Gunnel officiating.
Sidney will be greatly missed by his wife of 55 years, Betty Lanclos Breaux of Mamou two sons, Glenn Breaux and wife, Carolyn of Mamou, and Johnny Breaux, Jr. and wife, Sheri of League City, Tx. two daughters, Debbie Breaux and husband, Calvin of Youngsville and Donna Trahan and husband, Karl of Pearland, Tx. one brother, George Breaux of Sulphur three sisters, Faye Durocher and husband, Joe of Franklin, Betty Graham of Golden Meadow and Sandra Lemieux and husband, Bernie of Lake Charles seven grandchildren, Brandon, Nikolaus, Kristopher, Amelia, Tyler, Ashlee and Tori seven greatgrandchildren. Sidney will now reunite in Heaven with his parents, Savie and Nolie Louiviere Breaux, three brothers, Ivy, Bobby and Jerry Breaux and one sister Jane Chaisson. .
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home on Friday, February 14, 2014 from 4:30 pm until 10:00 pm A Prayer Service will be held Friday at 7:00 pm with Rev Dino Griffin officiating The Funeral Home will reopen on Saturday at 8:00 am until time of services.
