MAMOUIt is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Shannon Yvette Landreneau Chapman, 43, announce her passing on Monday, January 6, 2014 at 5:00 am at her residence in Reddell. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at 10:30 am at St. Anns Catholic Church in Mamou. Rite of Committal will follow in New St. Anns Cemetery in Mamou with Father Jason Vidrine Celebrant.
Shannon will be greatly missed by her mother Delores Dee Lejeune and husband Alton Doc of Eunice two daughters, Jenna Lee Chapman of Eunice and Joni Beth Chapman of Ville Platte one brother, Michael Scott Landreneau and wife, Kim of Vidrine one sister Caraline Campbell and husband, Terry of Pine Prairie.
Shannon will now reunite in Heaven with her son, Iram Jade Fuselier, her father Jimmy Jude Landreneau and one nephew, Gareth Brock Landreneau. Their reunion will surely be a joyous one.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 7, 2014 from 10:00 am until 9:00 pm. The Funeral Home will reopen at 8:00 am on Wednesday until time of services. A Rosary will be recited on Tuesday evening at 7:00 pm by Deacon Chuck Ortego.
