MAMOUIt is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the family announce the passing of their beloved, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, Sally Fontenot, on September 22, 2010 at The Heart Hospital Of Lafayette, at the age of 78. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 3:00 pm on Thursday, September 23, 2010 at St. Ann Catholic Church in Mamou. Burial will follow in the New St. Ann Cemetery with Father Joshua Guillory officiating.

She leaves behind a loving and grateful family including her two daughters, Eileen F. Guillory and husband, Joe, of Kaplan and Nina F. Simon and husband, Kent of Atlanta Ga two sons, Stephen Mark Fontenot and wife, Dona,of Duson, and Victor Lee Fontenot of Mamou two brothers, Wilton BEE Savant of Mamou and Lee Fuselier, Jr. of Lafayette Nine grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.

Sally now rests in Heaven with her beloved husband Dulan W. Fontenot.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Mamou on Wednesday, September 22, 2010 from 4:00 pm until 9:00pm. A Rosary will be recited at 6:00pm Wednesday Evening .
