Robert Wesley Odom

A graveside service will be held for Robert Wesley Odom at 10:00 AM on Monday, May 22, 2023, at the Veillon Cemetery in Duralde.

Robert passed away on Friday, May 19, 2023, in Mamou. He was born on July 25, 1965, in Memphis, Tn.  to Bob Odom and Rita Grzadzinski Odom. He was a resident of Duralde, and he was the maintenance man at the Savoy Heights Apartments of Mamou for five years. He enjoyed fishing for bass at Chicot State Park and loved sitting on his back porch, drinking coffee. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends who knew and loved him.

Robert is survived by: his wife of 12 years, Tessie Odom; daughter, Brandi Odom; step-daughter, Linzie Huckaby and husband, Michael; step-son, Shannon Chapman and wife, Lauren; grandson, Thomas Justin Odom; step-grandchildren, Brennan Chapman, Branson Huckaby, and Bailee Huckaby; parents, Bob and Rita Odom; brother, Roman Odom; sisters, Cindy Sandor and Kathy Morgan.

He was preceded in death by his son, T.J. Odom.
