MAMOUA wonderful husband, son, brother, uncle and friend, Ricky Guillory will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Ricky passed away on Saturday, January 08, 2011 at Savoy Medical Center in Mamou. He was 52. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at St. Anns Catholic Church in Mamou at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, January 11, 2011. Rite of Committal will follow in the Platin Cemetery with Father Mark Melancon officiating.
Ricky loved fishing and cooking for his family and friends. He had also opened up a meat market and enjoyed running it. He leaves behind a loving and grateful family including his wife of sixteen years, Anora Dean Landreneau Guillory of Ville Platte father, Clifford O. Guillory of Vidrine sister, Verline Guillory Fontenot and husband, Don of Breaux Bridge brotherinlaw, Charles Landreneau of Ville Platte numerous nieces and nephews and many loving family members and good friends.
Now he rests in Heaven with his beloved mother, Lillie F. Guillory and mother and fatherinlaw, Versie and Roy Landreneau.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Mamou on Monday, January 10th from 10:00 am until 10:00 pm and again on Tuesday, January 11th from 8:00 am until time of services. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm on Monday evening.
