MAMOU- It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Rayola G. Lou Marcantel announces her passing on Monday, June 1, 2015 at 3:00 A.M. at Savoy Care Center in Mamou. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Mamou on Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at 3:00 P.M. Rite of Committal will follow in the New St. Ann's Cemetery with Father Mark Melancon as Celebrant.
Lou is survived by her two daughters, Phoebe Cormier of Mamou and Glenda Reed of Saint Amant; one sister, Betty Hildabrand of Mamou; nine grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren;
She will now reunite in Heaven with her husband, Evabe Marcantel, one son, Jim Marcantel, her parents, Sady and Armide Guillory, two brothers, Ray D. Guillory, Burke S. Guillory, one sister, Yvonne Ardoin and two grandchildren, Coby Cormier and Phillip Reed. They surely await her arrival with open arms and joyous hearts
The family requests that visiting hours be observed on Monday from 3:00 P.M. until time of services. A Rosary will be recited at 6:00 P.M.by Father Thainese on Monday Evening.
