Mamou-Funeral services for Mrs. Rachelle Ann Kilgore Balfa will be held Sunday, September 17, 2006 at 2:00 pm at St. Ann Catholic Church. Burial to follow in the New St. Ann Cemetery. Father Bob Courville officiating.

Mrs. Balfa, age 45, a resident of Mamou died Friday, September 15, 2006, at her resident. Mrs. Balfa was a homemaker. She is preceded in death by her father, Jimmy Kilgore and a son Joseph Rodney Balfa.

The visitation will be held on Saturday September 16, 2006, from 6:00 pm until 10:00 pm and again on Sunday, September 17, 2006, from 8:00 am until time of services. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 pm Sunday evening.

Survivors include her mother Ellarene Kilgore of Mamou; two sons, Casey Balfa of Mamou, Jesse Balfa of Mamou; a special friend Dwayne Dupre and his son, Sage of Mamou; a brother Jimmy Kilgore, Jr. of Houston, TX; a daughter Katrina Balfa of Georgia and a sister, Robin K. McBride of Westlake.
