Mamou- Funeral services for Mr. Phillip Fontenot were held at 10:00 A.M.

Wednesday, August 9, 2006 at St. Anns Catholic Church. Burial followed in the New St. Anns Cemetery with Fr. Bob Courville officiating.

Mr. Fontenot, age 92, a resident of Reddell, La, died on Sunday, August 6, 2006, at

Savoy Medical Center in Mamou, La. He was a retired heavy equipment operator for the Dept. of Transportation for the state of La.

The visitation was held on Tuesday, August 8, 2006, from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.

And again on Wednesday, August 9, 2006 from 8:00 A.M. until time of services. A rosary was recited at 6:00 P.M. on Tuesday evening.

Survices include his wife, Ada Fontenot of Reddell, La; one son, James W. Fontenot and wife, Joyce of Huntsville, Al; one granddaughter, Rachelle Fontenot.
