MAMOU - It is with the heaviest of hearts that the family of Peggy Ann Prudhomme announces her passing on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at the age of 66. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, December 26, 2016 at 10:30 AM at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Mamou. Rite of Committal will follow in the New St. Ann's Cemetery.
Peggy was a longtime resident of Reddell. Peggy was born to the late Gus and Marceline Gotro in Mamou on October 25, 1950. She loved her family with all her heart and enjoyed spending time with them all. She will be sadly missed by all those who loved her.
Peggy is survived by her daughter, Candice Charlie, son, Joseph Scott Prudhomme, grandchildren Ricky Charlie, Samantha Charlie, Marcie Prudhomme, Kassie Prudhomme, and brother Burnell Gautreau.
Peggy was preceded in death by her parents Gus and Marceline Gotro, husband Franklin Prudhomme, and sisters, Margory Savant and Mary Jane Comer.
Visitation will be Monday December 26, 2016 at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Mamou from 9 am until services.
