MAMOUIt is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Paul Silton Cormier, 63 announces his passing on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at 11:25 pm at Medical Center of Southwest Louisiana in Lafayette. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, April 10, 2014 at 2:30 pm at St. Anns Catholic Church in Mamou. Rite of Committal will follow in the Reed Cemetery in Lanse Meg with Father Thainese as Celebrant.
Paul will be greatly missed by wife of 43 years, Phoebe Marcantel Cormier of Lanse Meg One son, Lucas Paul Cormier and wife, Melanie also of Lanse Meg motherinlaw, Lou Marcantel of Mamou three brothers, Jack Cormier and wife, Nelita, Lionel Cormier and wife, Debbie and Ricky Cormier and wife, Theresa all of Lanse Meg two sisters, Barbara Manuel, and the late Harold Blue Manuel of Lanse Meg and Judy Warcheck and husband, Larry of Baton Rouge and a sisterinlaw, Priscilla Duplechain of Eunice three grandchildren, Christopher Jeansonne of Slidell, Jared Pelican and Grady Cormier both of Lanse Meg.
Paul will now reunite in Heaven with his parents, Kirby and Eva Cormier, one son, Coby Cormier. They surely await his arrival with open arms and joyous hearts.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home on Wednesday April 9, 2014 from 3:00 pm until time of services. A Rosary will be recited at 6:30 pm by Father Thainese Family and friends may view the online obituary and sign the guestbook at www.ardoinfuneralhomes.com.
