MAMOUMemorial services will be held on Friday, May 11, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Eunice with Pastor Joshua Johnson officiating for Mrs. Nyla Faye Velek, age 67. Mrs .Velek, a resident of Mamou, was a homemaker and a wonderful friend, mother grandmother and , greatgrandmother is survived by one son, Christopher and wife Debbie of Mamou .two sisters, Ledenne Endusby of Tacoma Washington, and Garnet Parker of Lynden Washington four grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren..
She was preceded in death by her parents, Evelyn Bloemendaal and Wilson Beyer.
