MAMOUIt is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the family of Nora Aymond
announces her passing on Wednesday, October 05, 2011 at her residence in Mamou, La. at the age of 67. Services will be held at the Ardoin Funeral Home Chapel in Mamou, on Thursday October 6, 2011 at 2:00 pm Interment will follow in the New St. Anns Cemetery with Pastor Ken Campbell officiating.
Nora a loving mother, sister, friend, grandmother, greatgrandmother will be sadly missed by her son, Alton Jackson and wife, Ligia of Honduras, Central America two stepsons, Fernando and Nelson Diaz two daughters, Nanette Aymond and husband Gary of Mamou, and Deanette Adelmann and husband Larry of Birmingham, Al three stepdaughters, Janeth Traviesco, Gabriela and Patty Diaz four sisters, Josie McNab, Esterlee Sanchez, Valjeane Dixon and Pauline Elwin eleven grandchildren and five greatgrandchildren a host of other family and friends she was preceded in death by her husband, Hebert Aymond her parents, Cardy and Iomi Elwin one son, Rocky Jackson one grandchild Anderson Jackson one brother, Stavely Elwin and one sister, Patsy Elwin.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Mamou on Wednesday, October 05, 2011 from 4:00 pm until 10:00 pm and again on Thursday, Octobert 06, 2011 from 8:00 am until time of services..
