MAMOU- Nancy Lou Deshotels went to be with our Lord in Heaven. She passed peacefully at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Ville Platte on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at 2:00 A.M. Chapel Services will be held on Sunday, April 17, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at the Ardoin Funeral Home in Mamou. Burial will be follow in the Veillon Cemetery with Pastor Becky LaFleur officiating.

A loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. Nancy leaves behind two children, Elward Deshotels, Jr and wife, Elsie. Sonya M. Deshotels and friend, Kerry Fontenot all of Mamou; one sister, Linda Gail Guillory of Alexandria : five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She will now rest in Heaven with her husband, Elward Deshotels, Sr and her parents Milton and Percy Veillon Fuselier. They await her arrival with open arms. Their reunion will surely be a joyous one.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin's Funeral Home on Saturday April 16, 2016 from 4:00 P.M. until 10:00 P.M.
