MAMOUIt is with great sadness that the family of Murphy John Wyble announces his passing on Saturday, April 23, 2011 at St. Francis Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria. A Service of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Monday, April 25, 2011 at 1:00 pm at First Baptist Church in Mamou. Rite of Committal will follow in the Bieber Cemetery with Br. Ervin Goodman as Celebrant.
Murphy was a veteran of the United States Army and a retired mechanic. He will be remembered by his loving wife, Callie Wyble of Mamou three daughters, Catherine Wyble of Mamou, Shaney Espree and husband, Timothy of Church Point and Laurie Ardoin of Ville Platte three sisters, Diana Berzas and husband, Edrick of Mamou, Kathryn Smith and husband, Randy of Kaufman, TX and Amanda Fontenot of Eunice and nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Hazel Monk grandmother, Cilliman Labbe a brother, David Monk and his godmother, Virgie Mistric.
The famiy request that visiting hours be observed Sunday, April 24, 2011 from 3:00 pm until time of services on Monday.
