MAMOUIt is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of, Morris Fontenot, 68 announce his passing on Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at 10:25 am at Savoy Medical Center in Mamou. A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2013 at 3:00 pm at the Ardoins Funeral Home Chapel in Mamou with Pastor Joey Reed officiating.
Morris will be greatly missed by his wife of 40 years, Sandra F. Fontenot of Mamou one son, Les Fontenot and wife, Robyn of Mamou three daughters, Chantelle Comeaux and husband, Darrin Menard of Mamou, Deidra Metland and husband, Steve of Texas and Dana James and husband Larry also of Texas one brother, Jerry R. Fontenot and wife, Dianna of Mamou eight grandchildren, Angelle Lacoste and husband, Kenneth Guillory, Brittany Fontenot, Shyla Lacoste, Brandy Fontenot, Caleb Metland, Corey Metland, Lauren James and Rachel James four great grandchildren, Ethan, Sarah and Blake Lacoste and Timothy Mochel, Jr. five stepgrandchildren, Brandon Naquin, Haydon Bergeron and Zack Ardoin and Destin Menard and Brooklyn Menard. He now rests in Heaven with his parents, Adam and Delaide Fontenot, one sister, Verline Fontenot, one brother Bradley Fontenot and one grandson, Cody Metland..
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home on Saturday, November 23, 2013 from 1:00 pm until time of services.
