Mamou- Funeral services for Mitchell C. Ardoin, 56, were held at the Ardoin Funeral Home Chapel, on Thursday, July 5, 2007 2:00 p.m. Mr. Ardoin a resident of Mamou, died on Tuesday, July 3, 2007 at 1:25 p.m. at. Savoy Medical Center following a long illness. Burial will follow in the New St. Anns Cemetery.

Mitchell is survived by his wife, Yvonne Manuel Ardoin, of Mamou, La; three sons, Mitchell Ryan Ardoin, Paul J. Ardoin, and Lee E. Ardoin all of Mamou, La; two daughters, Laura Ashley Ardoin, and Alaina M. Ardoin, both of Mamou, La; one brother, Issac Ike Ardoin of Mamou, La and one sister, Mary Berdine Ardoin, Of Ville Platte, La; two grandchildren.

Mitch was preceded in death by his parents, Issac Ardoin, Sr. and Cora Veillon Ardoin.

He was founder and owner of Ardoin Lawn Service . He was also elected Police Juror of District 3.

Ardoin Funeral Home of Mamou was in charge of arrangements .
