Micki Lynn Lavergne, born on Thursday, September 2, 1976, in Mamou, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 10, 2025 in Eunice, Louisiana at the age of 49. A beloved homemaker and devoted mother, Micki spent her life crafting a warm and welcoming home for her family. A Celebration of her Life will be held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Mamou on Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in Campbell Cemetery with Reverend Kevin West officiating services.
Micki was known for her artistic talents, exploring her passion for arts and crafts, sewing, and painting. She also enjoyed tending to her garden which was a vibrant extension of her spirit. Nurturing both her garden and her family was her passion.
Micki is survived by her loving husband of 24 years, Keith Lavergne; her two daughters, Kelsey Waddell and husband, Dalton, and Lani Lavergne; three sons, Jesse Vegas and his partner, Brandy Richard, Duggie Lavergne, and Jobe Lavergne. She was a proud grandmother to Julian, Paisleigh, Lilli Anna, and was eagerly anticipating the arrival of her granddaughter, Arabella. Micki joins in heaven her beloved parents, William Norman Campbell and Betty Fontenot Campbell as well as her sisters, Rebecca Sliman and Danielle Vegas. The family invites friends and loved ones to celebrate Micki's life at a visitation set to take place on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, from 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Mamou and again on Wednesday, November 19, 2025 from 8:00 AM until time of service.
