Mamou- Funeral services for Michael J. Fontenot, 31, were held on Thursday, June 7, 2007 at St. Anns Catholic Church, with Father Bob Courville Officiating. Burial followed in the new St. Anns Cemetery.

Michael, is survived by his parents, Terry J. and Barbara M. Chick Fontenot, of Mamou, La.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Mark Jonathan and Nicholas Fontenot. Maternal grandparents , Euway and Agnes Manuel; Paternal grandparents, Delphia Lafleur, and Percy Fontenot.

Visitation was on Wednesday, June 6, 2007 from 5:00 P.M.- 10:00 P.M. and the funeral home will reopen at 8:00 A.M. on Thursday until time of services. A rosary was recited at 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday, June 6, 2007.

Ardoin Funeral Home of Mamou was in charge of arrangements.
