Mamou It is with great sadness that the family of Melba S. Guillory, 73 announces her passing on Wednesday, June 20, 2012. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, June 22, 2012 at 1:30 pm at St. Anns Catholic Church. Rite of Committal will follow in the New St. Anns Cemetery with Fr. Mitchell Guidry Celebrant.
A loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister, Melba will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 53 years, Ferrel Bob Guillory of Mamou one son, Chris Guillory and wife, Brenda of Mamou and one daughter, Tammy G. Pommier and husband Bobby J. also of Mamou one brother, Lonnie D. Sonnier and wife, Juanita F. Sonnier of Belaire Cove five grandchildren, Amy L. Guillory, Maci B. Guillory, Kristy L. LaFleur and husband Dwayne, Kevin D. Richard, Bryce L. Richard.two great grandchildren, Austin L. Fontenot and Madison B. Fontenot.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Aaron and Alice Sonnier and one grandson Beau A. Landreneau. The family request that visiting hours be observed Thursday, June 21, 2012 from 9:00 am until 10:00 p.m. and again on Friday, June 22, 2012 from 7:00 a.m. until time of services.
