It is with heave hearts that the family of Mary Ethel Vidrine announces her passing on December 11, 2016. Mary Ethel Vidrine was born in Grand Prairie October 20, 1936 to the late Mark and Elodie Catorie.
Mary Ethel Vidrine was longtime resident of Mamou. She loved the Lord with all her heart and soul. She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church Mamou where she enjoyed singing in the choir for many years. She was a dedicated employee of Savoy Medical Center for over 10 years.
Mary Ethel Vidrine leaves behind to cherish her memories her son Todd West of Mamou, and step-son Jerome Paul Vidrine and wife Sandra K. of West Virginia.
Mary Ethel Vidrine is preceded in death by her first husband Lee Burke West, second husband Lloyd Joseph Vidrine, parents Mark and Elodie Catoire, son Donald Jude West, two brothers and two sisters.
Visitation will be Tuesday December 13, 2016 at Ardoin Funeral Home in Mamou beginning at 5 pm until 9 pm. Visitation will continue Wednesday at the funeral home at 8 am until service time. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Wednesday at 10am. Mary Ethel Vidrine will be laid to rest in the First Baptist Cemetery in Mamou.
