MAMOU-A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 2:00 pm Monday, March 23, 2009 at St. Anns Catholic Church in Mamou for Mary Ita Lormand, 88, who passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2009 at Savoy Medical Center in Mamou. Rite of Committal will follow in the New St. Anns Cemetery with Father Austin Leger Celebrant.

She leaves behind a legacy of family and friends who loved and will miss her. Mary is survived by her husband, James A. Lormand of St. Landry; son, Wilbert R. Odom and wife, Ruby Manuel of Lafayette; sister, Emma Guillory Fontenot of Mamou; four grandchildren, Rhonda A. Hubner, Shannon Odom, Shane Odom, and Amy Odom.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Hattie Guillory; a son, Teddy J. Odom; previous husband, Isom J. Odom; brother, Didiea Guillory; sister, Agnes Guillory Moss; and a grandson, Mark J. Odom.

The family request that visiting hours be observed on Monday, March 23, 2009 from 10:00 am until time of Services. A Rosary will be recited at 1:30 pm Monday afternoon.

Memorial Donations may be made to your favorite charity in memory of Mrs. Mary Ita Lormand.
