Mary Goodwyn

MAMOU – It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Mary Neil Goodwyn announces her passing on Friday, June 19, 2020 in Mamou at the age of 80.

Mary Neil Goodwyn was born on October 2, 1939 in Basile to Jose and Cinda Molitor.   Mary Neil loved to be outdoors, riding her horse on trail rides, and being out in her beautiful flower garden.  She enjoyed a good meal and loved cooking for her family especially when using vegetables she grew in her garden. Mary Neil also enjoyed passing down her recipes to her family and teaching her family how to make those recipes.  Mary Neil will be greatly missed by her family and friends and her memory will always be cherished.

Mary Neil is survived by her three sons, Ray Marcel and wife, Flavi, Eric Marcel and wife, Rhonda , and Gary Marcel and wife, Annette; one daughter, Tina Eschete and companion Beau; seven grandchildren, Ray Marcel Jr., Alissa Harris, Misty Landry, Tiffany Doucet, Jenae’ Marcel, Sydney Marcel, and Brittany Eschete; and four great grandchildren, Layah Landry, Aiden Doucet, Jordyn Doucet, and, Memphis Harris.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jose and Cinda Molitor; husband, Tom Goodwyn; and brother Millard Molitor.
