Marie Enola Vidrine, lovingly known as "Mrs. Sis," entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at the blessed age of 87. Born in Ville Platte, Louisiana, and a longtime resident of Reddell, she lived her life devoted to her Lord and her family. A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, April 2, 2026 at 2:00 PM at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Mamou. A faithful servant and cherished soul, Mrs. Sis will be laid to rest in the New St. Ann Cemetery with Brother George Robinson officiating services.
A lifelong member of First Pentecostal Church of Pine Prairie, Mrs. Sis loved her Lord Jesus deeply and found great joy and peace in reading her Bible. Her faith guided every step she took, and her gentle spirit was a light to all who knew her.
A devoted housewife, mother, and grandmother, Mrs. Sis poured her heart into raising her children and played an active role in the lives of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She cherished every moment with her family, who were the joy of her life.
Mrs. Sis leaves behind to cherish her precious memory: her sons, Keith Vidrine (Jackie) and Gary Vidrine (Angie); her daughters, Celeste Renee' Fontenot and Tressa Aguillard (Jacob); her sister, Aline "Blonde" Ardoin; and her twin brother, Nolan Fontenot. She is also survived by her 12 grandchildren: Alicia, Alaina (Augie), Courtnei (Wesley), Jason (Coralie), Brandi (Mickey), Hannah, Joshua (Tiffany), Cody (Julie), Racquel, Olivia (Austin), Mayla (Zachary), and Collin; 22 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
She was welcomed into Heaven by her husband, Huey Vidrine; parents, Joseph Fontenot and Threase Charlie Fontenot; great-grandson, Austin Vidrine; son-in-law, John Fontenot; and 14 siblings.
Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM on Thursday, April 2, 2026 at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Mamou until time of services at 2:00 PM.
Her legacy of love, faith, and devotion will continue to live on through the many lives she touched.
