Mamou- Funeral services for Marie Nettie Cormier, 71, will be held on Tuesday, at the Ardoin Funeral Home Chapel in Mamou at 10:00 AM . Burial wil follow in the Assumption Cemetery in Mire La.

Mrs. Cormier a resident of Mamou, and a native of Ville Platte, died on Sunday, April 8, 2007 at Savoy Medical Center in Mamou, following a short illness.

She is survived by her husband, Joe Cormier of Mamou, La; two daughters, Deborah Halton, of Kansas City, Kansas, and Dianna Waite, of Salina, Kansas; one step- son, Joseph Cormier, Jr. of Jacksonville, Florida; one step-daughter, Amber Langley of Kinder, La; six grandchildren .one brother in marriage, John Pitre, Jr. of Beaumont, Texas.

Visitation will take place from 5 p.m. 10 p.m. on Monday, April 9, 2007. The Funeral Home wil reopen at 8 am until time services.

Ardoin Funeral Home of Mamou is in charge of arrangements.
