MAMOU-A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, May 26, 2009 at St. Anns Catholic Church in Mamou, La, for Mr. Malcolm Mac Fontenot, 56 who passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2009 at his residence. Burial will follow in the Gates Of Heaven Cemetery with Father Bryce Sibley officiating.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, children, grandchildren and brothers and sister and all who knew him. Mr. Fontenot is survived by his wife, Christine Dupre Fontenot, of Mamou, La; two daughters, Andrea Fontenot and Amanda Fontenot, both of Houma, La; one step-daughter, Nanette Campbell Swart, of Ville Platte, La and one step-son, Richard Cambell, of Mamou, La; two brothers, Carl Fontenot, of Whitehouse, Tx. and Glen Fontenot of BRIowa, La; and one sister, Shalinda Fontenot Oliver, of Frisco Tx. Malcolm is also survived by one aunt, Germaine Reed.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Chester J. and Juanita Saucier Fontenot; and one sister, Sheila Fontenot. The family request that visiting hours be observed on Monday, May 25, 2009 1:00 pm until 10:00 pm The Funeral Home will reopen at 8:00 am on Tuesday until time of services at 2:00 pm.

A Rosary will be recited on Monday, at 7:00 pm.
