Mamou- A Mass of Christian Burial for Lynette Lyne Fontenot, 49, will be Celebrated Tuesday, May 20, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Anns Catholic Church in Mamou. The Rite of Committal will follow in the New St. Anns Cemetery with Deacon David Guillory Celebrating.

Mrs. Fontenot, a native of Eunice and resident of Mamou, passed away on Sunday, May 18, 2008 at Savoy Medical Center in Mamou.

A loving Wife, Mother, Sister, and Grandmother, she is survived by her husband, Jason Keith Fontenot of Mamou; two sons, Christopher Paul Fontenot and William Scott Fontenot, both of Mamou; her step-father Earl Fuselier of Eunice; three brothers, Jerry Fuselier of Eunice, Terry Fuselier of Eunice, and David Fuselier of Austin, TX; three sisters, Ferdette Cart of Lafayette, Vanessa Soileau of Eunice, and Sonyia Bruchhaus of Elton; and three grandchildren, Silas, Harley, and Emily Fontenot. Lynette was also survived by a very special daughter-in-law, Heidi Stagg Fontenot of Lafayette.

She is preceded in death by a son, Donovan Troy Fontenot; parents, Willie Arnaud and Diana Fuselier; and a mother-in-law, Mercedez Fuselier.

Family request that visiting hours be observed on Monday, May 19, 2008 from 1:00p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and again on Tuesday, May 20, 2008 from 8:00 a.m. until services. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Monday evening.
