Lula Perron

MAMOU-A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Lula Fontenot Perron at 10:00 AM son Saturday, September 17, 2022, at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Mamou. Father Bala Rayapati will be the celebrant of the mass followed by Inurnment at New St. Ann’s Cemetery.

Lula Fontenot Perron, 70, passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2022, at Oak Lane Wellness and Rehabilitation Center. Lula was born on December 24, 1951, in Mamou, LA to the late Raymond Fontenot Sr. and Rose Bell Fontenot. She worked for Coors Brewing Company in Golden Colorado for many years in several different capacities before becoming the Administrator of Peter Coors. Lula was a very caring person, who was known for an infectious laugh. She loved attending the Colorado Rockies Baseball games with her boys, as well as watching them play various sports. Lula will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved her.

She is survived by her husband, Greg Perron; sons, Paul C. Tate III (Dorian) and Sam Tate; grandchildren, Silas Tate, Keira Tate, Wesley Vidrine, and Rosalind Hannah Tate; and brother, Michael Fontenot.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond Fontenot Sr. and Rose Bell Fontenot; and brothera, Raymond Fontenot, Jr. and Randy Fontenot.
