MAMOU-A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Lula Mae Hollier, 87, will be Celebrated Friday, June 20, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Anns Catholic Church in Mamou. Rite of Committal will follow in the Ortego Cemetery with Father Bob Courville officiating.

Mrs. Hollier, a resident of Duralde, passed away on Tuesday, June 17, 2008 at the Acadian Medical Center in Eunice.

A loving mother and grandmother, Lula is survived by three sons, Donald Chapman of Dry Creek, Stafford Hollier of Dry Creek, and James Hollier of Denver, CO; two daughters, Wilda David of Duralde and Magretta Johnson of Mamou; thirteen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Octave Hollier; one son, Lee Bert Hollier; parents, Eugee and Eve Landreneau; and one great grandson, Hunter David.

The Family request that visiting hours be observed on Thursday, June 19, 2008 from 10:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. and again on Friday, June 20, 2008 from 8:00 a.m. until services. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Thursday evening.
