MAMOUIt is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of, Lula D. Pitre Fuselier, 90 announce her passing on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at 9:50 pm at Magnolia Estates Nursing Home in Lafayette. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2014 at 1:00 pm at St. Anns Catholic Church in Mamou. Rite of Committal will follow in the New St. Anns Mausoleum in Mamou with Father Mark Melancon as Celebrant.
Lula will be greatly missed by her son, Clyde Pitre and wife Ann of Baton Rouge one daughter, Callie Pitre Avera of Lafayette one brother, Jerry Duplechain of Ville Platte six grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
Lula will now reunite in Heaven with her two husbands, Dennis Pitre and Harry Fuselier three sisters, Lillian Fontenot, Lilly Duplechain and Wynica Anclet.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home on Saturday, January 25, 2014 from 11:00 am until time of services at 1:00pm A Rosary will be recited at 12:30 pm . Family and friends may view the online obituary and sign the guestbook at www.ardoinfuneralhomes.com.
