Lucas Langley

MAMOU - Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Mamou, Louisiana on Monday, January 17, 2022, for Lucas Paul Langley, 38, who passed away on Thursday, January 13, 2022

Pastor Malcolm Ledet will conduct funeral services.

Burial will follow in the New St. Ann’s Cemetery.

Lucas Paul Langley was born on June 12, 1983, in Eunice, LA.  Lucas was a proud Native American Indian and member of the Coushatta Tribe.  He worked as a maintenance manager for the Coushatta Resort for over 19 years. Lucas’ family was his pride and joy, his children were the light of his life.  He loved them immensely and was very involved in every aspect of their lives.  He was an avid outdoorsman, whether it was visiting the mountains in Tennessee, mud riding on his Razor, or duck hunting with his son he loved spending time outdoors making memories with his family.  Lucas was a kind and loving son, father, brother, and grandfather.  His family and friends will miss his dearly.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, Jessica Butters Langley; children, Logan Langley, Eleecia Langley, Cadence Langley, Bryce Langley, and Breanna Comeaux; his mom, Sue Guillory Francois and husband, Johnny; grandson, Rowan Queflander; grandparents, Buddy and Mary Guillory; and sister, Stevi Langley.

He is preceded in death by his father, Paul Langley; brother, Johnathan Francoisl and grandparents, Joe and Lorena Langley.

The family requests that a visitation be held on Sunday, January 16, 2022, beginning at 2:00 PM until 10:00 PM at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Mamou.  Vitiation will resume Monday, January 17, 2022, beginning at 8:00 AM until time of service.
