MAMOUIt is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of, Louvine Vine Guillory, 91 announce her passing on Friday, January 10, 2014 at 6:37 am at Savoy Care Center in Mamou. Chapel services will be held on Monday, January 13, 2014 at 10:00 am at the Ardoins Funeral Home Chapel in Mamou. Burial will follow in the Ortego Cemetery in Lanse Greis with Pastor David Plunkett officiating.
Louvine will be greatly missed by her son, Austin Ray Pitre and wife Donna of Milton two daughters, Elizabeth Watson of Crooked Creek, and Dorothy Beniot and husband, Elrick of Vidrine two brothers, Daniel Fontenot and wife, Mae of Oakdale and Elvin Fontenot of Mamou one sister, Sylvia Totsie Fontenot of Mamou twelve grandchildren, eighteen greatgrandchildren and eleven greatgreatgrandchildren
Louvine will now reunite in Heaven with her two husbands, Idros Granger and Herbert Guillory her parents, Adam and Armes Deshotels Fontenot, eleven brothers and sisters and one grandchild Erica Beniot. Their reunion will surely be a joyous one.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home on Sunday, January 12, 2014 from 2:00 pm until 9:00 pm A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm The Funeral Home will reopen on Monday at 8:00 am until time of services.
