MAMOUIt is with great sadness that the family of Louallen Ardoin, 85, announces his passing on Saturday, March 31, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, April 1, 2012 at Ardoins Funeral Home of Mamou. Rite of Committal will follow at the Old St. Anns Cemetery in Mamou with Fr. Mark Melancon officiating the services.
Louallen leaves behind his two devoted sisters: Gracie Guillory of Mamou and Barbara Ardoin of Arkansas. His memory will most certainly be cherished by his numerous nieces and nephews they brought great joy and meaning to his life.
He served his country with great pride during his time in the United States Army he was an honorable veteran of the Korean War.
He now joins his beloved parents, Raoul and Olenor Ardoin, in Heaven. They await his arrival with open arms and joyous hearts.
At the request of the Ardoin family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home of Mamou, beginning at 8:00 AM Sunday, April 1, 2012 and continuing until the time of services. A Rosary will be recited in his honor at 1:30 PM Sunday afternoon.
